I CAN DO IT! Our New Profile in Ogle County Living

Early in March, Jerry and I sat down for an interview with Ogle County Living.  A magazine dedicated to informing the people of Ogle County (which includes Jerry’s hometown of Rochelle, Illinois) about local issues and events, they reached out to Jerry about doing an interview, and we gladly accepted.

We sat down in the Rochelle Public Library to talk about the origins of Do Art, what we believe about the power of creativity and inspiration, and where we’re headed in the months and years to come.  Special thanks to the journalist, Cody Cutter, for his amazing questions and awesome general vibe.

The magazine is out now!  Grab yourself a copy or check out the online version here.  As an incorrigible graphic design nerd, I am terribly impressed with the layout of the article.  The bright colors definitely capture the energy we’re trying to bring in 2024 and beyond.  You will also see some of our original pictures and the cartoon creations we use to inspire drawings and art at our workshops!

With a summer of workshops, events, and overall creativity on the horizon, we very much appreciate the staff at Ogle County Living, and those of you who have shared our message with the wider world.  As we continue to forge a community of artists, we look forward to seeing you, and all the amazing artwork you create!
