Welcome to Do Art Productions!

Ms. Erykah Badu.

Greetings!

Welcome to our corner of the Internet! It’s been an amazing year so far, as we’ve travelled across the country spreading the message of Do Art at libraries, park districts, comic cons, and more.

Do Art Productions grew out of years of discussion and development. Co-founders Chet Roush and Jerry Moffitt contemplated their theories about art, its importance, and its ability to engender confidence and generally elevate the human experience.

Consider this less an introduction than an invitation: join us on our quest to bring and entertainment and inspiration to the farthest corners of the world. If that sounds grandiose, well, perhaps it is a consequence of seeing where inspiration, mixed with dedication, can take you.

To give you a better idea of who we are and what we do, here is a sample of the Mission Statement from our Services page. There you can see a more comprehensive list of our events, and what we aim to achieve.

Wishing you well, wherever you are, and excited to have you with us as we explore the potential and possibilities of art!

Do Art Productions Mission statement:

Do Art Productions aspires to arouse curiosity in the self through art.  We promote not solely art, but the ‘act’ of art, that special moment of magic where something comes out of nothing.  In that moment, more than creation happens.  Development happens.  Empathy happens.  Passion, compassion, self determination, maturity, but most importantly, another perspective.  With patience, all is revealed.

Do Art Productions offers a variety of workshops throughout a variety of art mediums.  We have a cast of talented artists, skilled in multiple artforms, who bring a charismatic energy and presence to inspire creativity in any audience.  We not only talk about the structure and form of each art form, but also slip in tidbits of historical fact, and knowledge of each art’s well-known figures.  We attempt to utilize two of the most powerful aspects of art: Expression and Education.  With the energy and talent of our own disciplines, we enhance the moment by using art’s most powerful aspect: Entertainment.
