Last year we were immensely privileged to do an interview for Ogle County Life, detailing the beginnings of Do Art, our mission, and what lies again for us.
Well, we’re back! Mr. Jerry and Ms. Karen gave an interview for Ogle County Life that came out last week, and I encourage all of you to give it a read.

A few highlights:
We get so much of a response from parents, teachers and librarians. That’s very motivating and helps us to keep moving forward. The biggest impact is seeing a shy kid come out of their shell and do art. It’s rewarding to be the catalyst for that.”
-Mr. Jerry
I find it rewarding when kids come up to you after workshops and thank you. I do it for the kids and it makes me happy.
-Ms. Karen
Reading about our “expansion,” make me reflect on how far we’ve come, as well as all the exciting things we’ve got planned for the future. Whether our nationwide Summer Reading Library Tour or our upcoming Creative Assemblies at schools, Do Art will continue to bring art and creativity to audiences of all ages!
Where do YOU think we should go next? Feedback from educators and creative people has been an amazing driver of our success. Reach out to us and let us know what you want to see DO ART do next!
